Abstract

Polythelia is a minor genetic alteration, whose alteration is evidenced in the number of nipples, asymptomatic, affecting the masculine gender more frequently, being able to associate with genetic syndromes and its therapeutic principle is surgery. We present the case of a 19-year-old female, who consulted because of her birth, complex areola-nipple accessory in left breast with family history of mother and aunt with incomplete polythesias, physical examination evidenced 2 nipple areola complexes in midline in the left breast, the superior one of 4 x 5.5 cm and the inferior one of 4 x 5 cm, with 4 mm of separation between both, taken to operative table, superior pedicle technique is performed by resection of an inverted cone with compensation of 1/3 superior in relation to proportion and size of the areola plus resection wedge of breast tissue and milk ducts, postoperative without complications.
