Satisfaction with life perception and physical activity on costarican university students

Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to relate the perception of satisfaction with life and physical activity in university students of Costa Rica. Descriptive cross-sectional study, participated 102 university students of the human movement careers, National University. General information instruments, level of physical activity and the Life Satisfaction Scale were used. Women had higher life satisfaction scores than men (t(100)= -1.991, p= 0.049, d= 0.2.) There is no significant difference in weekly physical activity. Of university women who are active with their lives and that regardless of the level of physical activity, the realization of physical activity is a determining factor for perceiving themselves satisfied with life.
